What Recontraq Uses Data For
Recontraq uses account, transaction, category, vendor, subscription, insurance, bill, goal, currency, notification, and support information to provide the app's tracking, review, reminder, reporting, and learning workflows.
Data Sources
The app and backend include support for manual account entry, CSV-style imports, connected-bank sources, Google Sheets imports, and Microsoft Excel imports. Availability can vary by app version and configured backend services.
Bank Connections
Where bank connection is available, the consent flow is intended for read-only data access. Recontraq does not ask users to enter bank passwords into Recontraq. Users should review the consent screen and provider terms before connecting.
CDR and Open Banking
Recontraq must not be treated as claiming Consumer Data Right accreditation or AFCA membership unless those details are expressly published with supporting registration information. If a CDR data-recipient model is activated, this page should be replaced or supplemented with a formal CDR policy.
User Controls
The app is designed to expose settings for connected banks, data sharing, export-my-data, categories, notifications, account deletion, and support requests. Some controls may be marked coming soon while rollout is in progress.
